My wheel disappeared after I closed the browser.
Wheelio saves your wheel to your browser's localStorage. If you cleared site data, used private browsing, or switched browsers/devices, the wheel won't carry over. To preserve a wheel between sessions, use the "Download" button on the home page to export it as a JSON file, then "Load" it later.
The embed iframe isn't showing up on my website.
Most often this is a Content Security Policy (CSP) on the host page that blocks third-party iframes. Check your browser's developer console for a CSP error, and add https://wheelio.xyz to your frame-src directive. Some platforms (Notion, Squarespace) also restrict iframe embedding by plan.
Can I remove the watermark / ads from the embed?
The embedded wheel is the same wheel you use on the site, served ad-free for embedding. The main site shows ads to support the project — see Support the Project below if you'd like to contribute another way.
Are entries / wheel data sent to your servers?
No. Wheel content stays in your browser. We do not log, store, or transmit the labels you enter. Anonymous analytics on page visits are collected only after consent. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
Can I use Wheelio commercially (e.g., on my client's website)?
Yes. Embedding the wheel on commercial websites, in client work, or in classroom tools is permitted without prior written consent, provided you do not misrepresent it as your own product. See our Terms of Service for the specifics.
I'm running a giveaway — can you certify the result?
